Massive Site Migration – An update on the Google Webmaster Central Blog

Google always tells us about new things. Here the new noticeable thing is that Google web master blog has changed its address. The reason is to move towards new domain.

Google is moving its blog to make people get help in recognizing official blog from Google. It will be easier to read after recognition. These changes are having too many positive aspects. There is not any problem for users because the new domain is directly connected with previous address.

“Indeed that is important because there are many unofficial Google blogs on the blog spot domain that may appear to be official Google blogs.” It is indeed good news for users, clients and also for Google. Unofficial blog will not be appeared as official blog. Your selection will be clearer and search will be more specified.

John Mueller of Google said “These changes will roll out to all of Google’s blogs over time. The good news, the “previous address will redirect to the new domain. But it seems like the RSS feeds will not migrate at this time from the looks of it. ”

Former Googler, Pedro Dias said on Google+ “Update your feeds, because at the moment it doesn’t redirect.” Approach your most valuable customers with Customer Match.
